Indosail Rig

The Indosail rig was designed in 1990’s by Peter Schenzle and incorporated into a 900 ton freighter.  The rig was installed on 2 other smaller vessels: the Rainbow Warrior II and Syscomp 1, now SV Sedna.

We work closely with Peter Schenzle and Peter Wilcox, Captain of both later ships, to design and install the rig in a new generation of ships.  This rig can efficiently harness wind power on ships with properly trained island crews.
